UFCU helped us realize our dream of opening a restaurant.

One of us joined UFCU as a UT student 14 years ago. So when it came time to open an account for our business, Dai Due, it was only natural that we start our business banking with UFCU too. Over the last eight years, the employees at UFCU have treated us with respect and genuine kindness. We love the downtown location, where we have gotten to know the tellers and managers over the years. Even in this ever-growing city, it still feels like a small-town bank, where the staff and Members know each other and we chat about our days as transactions are processed. I still drive to this branch, even though it is not the closest to my home or to the restaurant, but the personal attention I receive every time I visit makes it worth the commute.

Tamara & Jesse are ready to serve customers in their restaurant.As we prepared to open our new brick-and-mortar restaurant and butcher shop over the last year and worked to raise money for construction, equipment, and opening capital, we were directed to Chad, who came to our home for our initial meeting. We were at ease immediately in his presence, as he listened wholeheartedly to the story of Dai Due, our history, and our goals, and his sincerity and honesty was refreshing and impressive.

Chad was instrumental in helping us find the solution we needed to get the doors open. The entire process of applying and receiving a small business loan through UFCU was efficient, straightforward, and clear, and it was handled with not just utmost professionalism, but with an authentic respect for us as people and for our dreams of being restaurant owners. We are so grateful for such a positive banking experience.
